My experience was amazing! I walked in and sat immediately at the bar on a Sunday at 5:30pm .. my server/bartender , Jay was knowledgeable and friendly.. he recommended drink and food options.. I ordered the fried whiting dinner with a “thug passion” to drink.. I also added on some cornbread and everything was great!! I loved the fact that throughout my visit, they were actively cleaning the floors to ensure that they provided a comfortable and clean atmosphere for all of their guests. The manager, Ms. Darlene was super friendly and ensured that I enjoyed my visit from start to finish even during the busiest hours of the day. I will definitely be back and it comes highly recommended!!!
Giving 5 stars because the food was top tier. Just good ole soul food. I also gave a 5 for the atmosphere. Great music and I like the decor. It’s a laid back, nice vibe. I gave the service a 4, probably would do a 4.5 if I could. Here’s why, the man at the front door was polite and accommodating. He got us in and seated within 10 minutes. Now when we sat down, we did wait for a bit. We wondered where our server was...well Nia, the bartender came in and took care of us. She was nice, answered our questions, and we enjoyed her. We didn’t appreciate another server coming to her and telling her to “hurry up.” Shoutout to Nia for handling it so professionally because we were offended for her. Thank you Nia, you made our experience so good and the food was delicious! Made it worth the wait.
I had an amazing dining experience at Southern Fire Kitchen, and a big part of that was thanks to our wonderful waitress Jessica. She was warm, professional, and made us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she checked in with us often enough to be helpful without ever being intrusive. You could tell she truly cared about making sure we had a great experience. It’s that kind of service that turns a good meal into a memorable one. I’ll definitely be back!
Went to the Fayetteville location had a great waitress name Rose stayed checking on us but not overwhelming. One of the owners (RiRi) came out to check on us and to introduce herself she was very professional and cool. We will be coming back for the outstanding service and great food
I’ve been here once a while ago and the food was good. I returned today and the food was consistently delicious as I remember. Mia the bartender took good care of me. I only needed two drinks. I can see this restaurant as one of my favorites to visits.
This place is everything as mentioned on TikTok. The customer service to the food was amazing. It’s definitely a vibe in there. Just a friendly reminder drink refills are not free. So drink slowly or pay 5. This was a bit expensive but I guess everything in the world is these days. I can’t wait to go back very soon. Thank you to the entire staff for showing up for work with great attitudes and smiles... Not shown was hubby’s loaded Alfredo baked potato. It was huge.
Me, my husband and his family visited last week and the food was beyond good! So good we went back the next day! We all ordered something different so we can get a taste of everything and they did not disappoint! The server was sooo sweet and knowledgeable of the menu and her suggestions did not disappoint! The owner came to our table to introduce herself and she was so down to earth and pleasant! I love seeing a strong black woman in business! Let’s not forget the music selection they played was a vibe and that put the icing on the cake! I can’t tell you what order, just order it all! lol! We’ll definitely be back! Sooner than later!! I’m horrible at taking food pics cause I was too busy eating and sampling but here’s a few to get you started! Run don’t walk there!!
The food was absolutely amazing! I had the Turkey Chops, mac & cheese, fried okra, and black-eyed peas — all seasoned to perfection. My friend ordered the fried whole wings, yams, and collard greens, and everything was delicious. We also tried a couple of drinks — a bit on the pricey side, but you could definitely taste the liquor, so no complaints there! Although the estimated wait time was 45 minutes, we were seated in about 30, and it was well worth it. Our server, Jessica, was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be back!
